2013

Exhibition text from Verkstad Rom för Konst, Norrköping Sweden:
When casting glass, the temperature in the kiln reaches 850 degrees. To prevent the glass from exploding, the cooling process must be gradual and slow, and this particular glass takes four days to cool off. During this time, small air bubbles that can´t make it in their escape towards the surface and are captured in a pattern that is believed to be given by the Earths rotation. The title refers to a science article disclosing new facts about rotation in Earths core.
